War's Effects

I choose the 3rd question. "Wars do not only claim many lives but also spoil/destroy a man's character. Do you agree with this statement? Cite details from the book to prove your answer. " I agree and disagree. This story wont even start if it wasn't for war. King Agamemnon would never end up like this if it wasn't for war. People in this book would never turn bad (stubborn, greedy, selfish, blood-thirsty, etc.) if it wasn't for war. Everything that happens in war can ruin a man's character.

But not all men is affected by pressures of war. Take hector as an example, every time he fights a war he is still a good husband and father. When he comes home he finds his wife, kisses her then looks for his son, and do things what a father would do, do things what a good husband and man would do.He does not use his violence in war when at home.

War effects people in many ways. It effects there beliefs, emotions, morality etc

It's quite evident that you did not explore the assigned books this week.

You were not able to give concrete examples of characters and events that would clearly explain you point.

It is expected that you will be more particular about this next time.
